2019 Boutique Evening Vendor Application Form
The Greater Killington Women's Club (GKWC) is hosting its 3rd Annual Boutique Evening " Nibbles, Bobbles & Bits" to benefit The Mentor Connector of Rutland County.
Date: Friday, November 8, 2019
Time: 4:30 to 7:30 pm
Location: Summit Lodge, 200 Summit Road, Killington
Light refreshments served and cash bar available
Admission: FREE of charge
VENDOR RESPONSIBILITY:
Business vendors are responsible for submitting
this completed contract agreement along with the payment of $25 (only if not already a GKWC
member) or $15 for a half table (for
non-GKWC members) no later than 4 pm on Friday, October 25, 2019 to The Killington Group at 2814 Killington Road in
Killington (a night time drop box is also
available) or by mail to the GKWC’s P.O. Box #68
Killington, VT 05751. The cost to participate for vendors who are also current
GKWC members in good standing (annual dues
paid as of 7/1/19) is only $15 (full table) or $8 (half table) with a completed vendor contract agreement. Accepted
vendors must contribute a raffle prize
donation (with at least a $25+ value). Prizes must be dropped
off prior to the event between 2 pm - 4
pm at the Summit Lodge during vendor table set-up beginning the day of the
event on Fri. 11/8/19. Vendors are responsible for any and all sales taxes for
items sold during the event. Vendors agree to have at least one attendant at
their table throughout the event. Vendors are also responsible for the security
of their own merchandise.
GKWC RESPONSIBILITY:
The GKWC will partner with the vendor businesses to promote the event. The club is responsible for selecting or limiting participating vendors based on space and the type of vendor (including seeking a balance of different types and choosing appropriate participants). Preference will be given to vendors offering retail merchandise rather than service businesses. Light refreshments will be provided for vendors and attendees during the event. Club volunteers are responsible for setting up the booth table layout, identifying booth vendor assignments (to ensure similar vendors are not located too near to each other), setting up the raffle prize table (including providing containers for the raffle tickets collected for each donation), selling raffle tickets to attendees (since there is no cost of attendance), selecting raffle winners (who do not need to be present to win), announcing the vendor donating each prize (along with a brief description) and distributing prizes to winners. The club will select the time of the raffle to occur towards the end of the event for maximum raffle sales. All proceeds from the raffle ticket sale will benefit a worthwhile charity in the community. The Mentor Connector of Rutland County will be the beneficiary of this 3rd Annual 2019 event.
